Yesterday me and my mum went outside on the deck to make something called a (make your own bubble) I will be putting photos down below. Anyways its men't to make a giant bubble that you blow. We had to use these ingredients: Sticks, string, dishwashing liquid and last but not least a bowl and hot water. The first time I tested it out it was a fail but the ongoing ones I did was pretty good even though it kept getting tangeld up time after time.
That looks like a super fun activity Nathan! Did you work out a way of doing it without the string tangling up?
ReplyDeleteI think adding the picture to the Blog post really helps to demonstrate what you did. Have you heard the saying a picture paints a thousand words?
It's called an idiom - which refers to the notion that one single image can show a story as effectively as a large amount of descriptive text/words.
So you taking this picture and adding it in, means you don't have to use 1000 words to show us what you mean :-)
Pictures and blogs go together like jelly and ice cream!
Nathan I love this activity. When you said it was a fail. Thats all good, becasue from there you can only keep on trying until you have success. It is one of our school values. I wonder if you can guess what value it is? Once you have mastered it could you share it with me, so that perhaps I can share it with my own class and see if they can make it work. I love the photo that goes with it as well. It's amazing how much you learn when you try something cool and creative like this.
ReplyDeleteHey Nathan
ReplyDeleteI love bubbles!! Did you enjoy this activity? I like seeing photos too, I think it helps the reader to visualise what your doing?
Is there a reason why you used hot water? Is this linked to your m&m experiment? I wonder if that’s why my bubbles never worked well. Have you ever tried putting sugar in?
Thanks for sharing your learning!
Happy blogging
Hey Nathan what a cool activity. The photo shows that you had a great time. Maybe next time you can describe the bubbles for us.
