Writing.

 On Sunday, my mum organized a church picnic .

 When we got there, I saw one of my friend from church. He called me and said, “Hey Nathan!” I said I'm coming.

 As soon as we got to the spot with our friends. We unrolled a picnic blanket and grabbed some food out of reusable bags. We sat there having a great time and chatting. That sky was as blue as the fijian ocean.

After that we went down the walk way and it took us to another playground. It had a fly fox, a basketball hoop and a normal playground.

Digital portrait.

Yesterday I made a digital portrait of my self! If you do not know what a digital portrait is, I will tell you here and now.

1: Take a photo of yourself and upload it on to google drawing.

2: Make sure the photo is medium size.

3: Make a symmetrical line in the middle.

4: Outline shapes of you body and nose, ears (etc)

5: Fill in the outlines you did, with coloulrs and then you are done!

 I made something in this website called "thisissand.com
" it is a website that you can make art with sand. We you left click on the screen, the sand will fall from the sky. I guess it will be relaxing from some people, although it can make really cool looking art. here are some pictures of my art.

weaving with my class.

 

Weaving.

Three days ago I did some weaving with my student teacher, we chose some colours when I mean “we” I mean the whole class. I picked green,blue and purple. It looked like a square or a box, I went though in and out again and again.

  I decided to do it myself since I have done it last year, and I still remember how to do it. How I remember how you need to go in and out several times. Honestly it's a simple way of remembering. But I did it 

 We did it on the 19th of November, Friday 2021. It was the last day of the week, because it was Friday!

We finally arrived at the big clock tower suburb, there are millions of tall buildings that you can visit. In the background there are many things like beautiful trees, bright blue sky and many people having the best time of their lives. While eating scrumshis and delicious food, with people playing sports.

 There is this giant tree that can fit over one-hundred people, here are some peoples reactions. “Oh Hello um a this tree is lovely for shade I think it is great! The second person is now going to talk. “Good morning, hello, “ What is your thoughts of this giant shade?

Minecraft challenge.

 Today I tried one of my Minecraft challenge for school. I chose the one that you had to make a pumkin in Minecraft. Lets just say that it didin't go so well...  what I really mean is that it didn't look like a pumkin at all, it looked like a orange coulerd pyramid. Yup a pyramid, it didin't have much to it, then I tried to make it look a little bit better that before. Once I finished the "touch up" it made it look even badder. Look down below if you want to see the awful looking pumkin. (I'm pretty sure you don't want to see it, it is optional)

Minecraft Halloween school work.

Today I made a spooky world in Minecraft Education Edition. I am not going to be putting on any photos it is because I do not wan't to, put on any photos. Anyways this is how it went: First I planted some saplings. If you were going to ask wich type of tree is it going to grow up to. It is the spruce tree, it is one that is dark but not too dark. Anyways then I added some wooden logs, and a fire place to make it spooky. Then I used a script to make a house for me, because I was lazy and It will take quite a long time making a house, So I dicied to go loki. Then last but not least, the final touch of them all is TURNING IT NiGhT.

If you were wondering why the word (Night) wasn't spelt correctly is because it meant to make it look scary.                                                Have a great rest of you day!

"DIY" fingerboard.

I was bored and being bored=Do it yourself fingerboard time!

If you don't know what a finger board is. At the bottom of the writing/page there will be a fingerboard image. Once you see it you will know what I mean. (I just said that because I had no other words to say :)  Anyways, I painted and took of the grip tape from the board, then I removed the sticky stuff of the board then I painted it with red and black sharpie.(Here is how it went)

Traditional Chinese Chicken Curry

 I found out quite a while ago that I yes me hand to make a traditional food from our family. I'm going to tell you how to make it so that is a bonus! 

  Six chicken drumsticks (optional)  (cut the meat off) or you could grab any meat yourself which needs to my 800g.

 One table spoon of curry powder, (Meat Curry powder). 

Two pieces of Golden Curry sauce mix.

Two full potatoes, then sliced in to cubes. With one table spoon of brown sugar.

One onion, sliced. With one table spoon of soy sauce.

A splash of milk.

One table spoon of salt.

2-3 carrots (optional)

1. Cook potatoes in a wok. Add carrots.

2. Add chicken. Fry.

3. Add one glass of water.

4. Add Curry sauce mix, brown sugar, soy sauce.

5. Cover and cook for ten minutes.

6.  Add onion when boiling for ten minutes.

7. Cook onion for five minutes.

8. Add a splash of milk.

9. Cook for three minutes.

10. Add cornflower to thicken if needed.

Feel free to make it yourself, add spices etc) and make however you want.

tent challenge.

 Today because my mum wasn't here she was at school, anyways  I made a little tent with a little bit of an assist from my dad. First I started off finding chairs because I wanted that to be the frame. I grabbed a couple chairs from my table. Then I went and got a blanket for the roof. After that I got three or four pillows for the walls and that was it! It was basically a loki build it wasn't that crazy, I would give it a 7/10 it wasn't the best but who knows. Here is photos of the tent thingy.

Egg challenge.....

 Today at 3:20 pm me and my mum tried the egg challenge. Its from the class site of room 11. If you ask what materials we used. We used four rolls of tinfoil and one wrap of paper towel. First we rapped the one piece of the paper towel then we progressed with the other stuff. I asked my dad to tell me his hypothesis, and he said "Yes I think it wouldn't break/crack". So I said lets see if you are right! Then I went to the window of my bedroom

and droped the egg. My mum was videoing me from outside. I ran outside to see if it broke and it...... DID! I was in shock, with so much lairs I thought it wouldn't break....

Lockdown

Lockdown has been really hard for a lot of people including me. I will say from my opinon that I do not like lockdown because you can't go to reserunts, skate parks etc) so my family went out of the open to get my dads vaccine. "If you ask what do you mean about out in the open" well I can tell you now, so because my family live in the mountains we had to drive for a very long time. Did I like it yes because we went on a route that I never went on before. As soon as we got there me and my mum were not allowed to go in with my dad because it was only for him not us. Half way there we were so high, luckily we had petrol.The veiw was awesome, I could see heeps of thing like a farm, broken down sheds and a lot more. Thank you for listing in with me in my story of lockdown.

New desk

 Today me and my father build myself a new desk. We layed out all of our wood and metel in my bedroom of course. there was 38 type c nails that's all I can remember, we had to do a lot of screwing with bolts etc) it almost took an hour and a half! most of the scructure was made out of timber. On top of the desk we buildt a second shelf for books etc) what was holding it up was metel frames. I am sorry but not sorry at the same time because I couldin't take a photo of the new desk because I didin't wan't to because I already use photos too many times on my posts.

Bedroom makeover.

 One sunny evening my dad and me wanted to change my room around so we did! We started taking out stuff that I didin't need from my shelf, then we shrinked the shelf by pushing it in. Then we did the same thing with a box's, taking stuff out that I didin't need then moving the bed, bedside table and last but not least the desk. Here are some photos of M

letter nature.

 Today me and my mum went outside of our house to look for nature that looks like letters! We went outside, First we found sticks on the ground that looked like nothing. So we moved it a little bit and then it looked like an (x). The next was and (o) it was a log from a cut down tree. The others were c and K. We found the letter V from a weed in the grass. Marble maze.

 Today me my dad and my mum helped me make a little mini-game called marble maze. For the walls we used straws. If you ask how did I stick the straws on? Well my dad put some glue from a bottle  underneath the straws. My dad drew a little star and a word that said (Finish) at the end. My mum cut out some sparkly glittery sticker and it said (END) and (GO). If the straw was too long you had to cut it with scissors. (By the way I was careful with the scissors).

Make your own bubble.

 Yesterday me and my mum went outside on the deck to make something called a (make your own bubble) I will be putting photos down below. Anyways its men't to make a giant bubble that you blow. We had to use these ingredients: Sticks, string, dishwashing liquid and last but not least a bowl and hot water. The first time I tested it out it was a fail but the ongoing ones I did was pretty good even though it kept getting tangeld up time after time.

                                                                        

M & N experiment no.2

I thought it will freeze off the M & N but I was wrong. The hot bowl was the easiest to make the M & N logo fall off. By the way The hot water wasin't that hot so keep in mind. As a few minutes went by they started to become cracked. Here are some photos of the  M & N's just look down. Its okay if you can't see them but maybe try zoom in.

M & N experiment.

 On Saturday night around 5:00, me and my mum did a experiment WITH M & N'S anyway it was really exciting, because the whole purpose was for the m & n logo to come off the m & n. I know yes me, said the word: (M & N) too many times but if you come up with any other words instead of M & N, put them in the comments. We fulled up one bowl with cold water and the other with hot water, I made a hypothesis to see witch M & N logo will come off first was it the cold or hot. I choose the cold water because ...

Goldilocks remake.

 Yesterday me and my group presented a remake of the Goldilocks and the three bears. We made this script quite a wile ago. We made some sentenses to see if they make sense well I did, anyways and then I checked the correct spelling off the internet. When we presented the remake it was quite different because we had to do it off google meet. If you don't know what google meet is, I will tell you, it is something like zoom Im pretty sure you know what zoom is so its similar.

Going biking.

 Today me and my nextdoor neighbor went on the road to do some biking. We also stayed two meters apart, we rode up hill, down hill, off road, on road. When we were biking we came across vomit so we didin't drive on it. We went down a giant hill and we felt like we were as fast as flash. We made some skids and drove over some, and our tiers were all muddy. So we knew what to do, so we went back into our properties and got the hose and started washing them. Why who ask? Because we didin't like our bikes dirty. By the way we only did it for like 20 seconds.

Making paper planes

 Today I made a weird looking paper plane on accident. Because I was just folding parts of the paper, Then suddenly I folded a side then threw it and it didin't go far. it looked awesome! I new I had to show my parents and I did, and they said "cool". So I tested it out for the second time. It flew terribly wrong, because I think it had to much weight on the wings. because I folded the wing like a billion times because I wanted to make it small to it could fly far. Because everyone says the smaller the faster.

Paper Planes

Today the 30th of July groups of four in my class made paper planes with glue sticks and scissors. We made the Paper plane showing collabrative. At the end we all did a race with the paper planes down on the turf.

Last day of term 2

Disco Friday night

 On Friday a lot people went to the school disco as well as me. it was really loud and crazy. There was rainbow disco lights almost everywhere. I got money to bye some snacks. I bought some glow sticks. It was pretty fun.

Fractions with my class

On the 17th of June my whole class learnt about fractions, so we did posters about fractions. So what we did was making fractions with paper, then on the side we wrote the numerator and denominator. You would think we did it in pairs but we did it in table groups. Here's a picture of my table group's work.

Bee science at School

 On Wednesday morning we did some science about Bees. Here's 1 fact about bees. Once a bee stings it dies because the stinger is connected to their immune system. If their immune is dead they will die. Me and my friend Caleb, picked up the bee with tweezers and took a look at him.

The bee that we picked up was called a Worker Bee. Then we got given a sheet about bees to fill in. Don't forget check the photos down below.
